After the controversy over the design of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial ("The Wall"), the Three Servicemen Statue was created to complement the Memorial. Unveiled in 1984, it symbolized in a more traditional manner the spirit and heroism that many veterans thought was lacking in the design of The Wall. Wearing the uniforms and carrying the weapons of the Vietnam War era, the three servicemen embody heroism, strength and vulnerability, and display the "thousand yard stare" of combat soldiers. This poster measures 16" x 20" and is printed on heavy, glossy stock, suitable for framing. A US Wings exclusive! Shipped in a heavy-duty tube for protection. Made in the USA.
